Fern Valley Inn has 10 rooms and cottages to choose from. The Inn dates back to 1950, and is one of the oldest lodging establishments on the hill.
 The grounds are one of the Inn’s most charming features. With two gazebos (one for summer and one fully enclosed for cooler weather), meandering pathways, lovely trees, lilacs,and floral landscaping, wandering around the property is fun in itself.
The Inn also has one of Idyllwild’s few swimming pools for your enjoyment in the summer months. Guests enjoy a refreshing dip after the day’s activities and sunbathing on our warm summer afternoons.
Four Seasons
 We enjoy four distinct seasons at an elevation of 5,400 feet. When it’s 110 degrees in the desert, it will most likely be 75 degrees here. And if you have a craving for snow – maybe you want to have a white Christmas this year even though you live in Pasadena – we have it in abundance during the winter.

Directions
 From San Diego: Take I-15 north to Temecula, then Hwy 79 to Hwy 371 to Hwy 74. Turn left on Hwy 74 and follow it to Mountain Center where you will meet Hwy 243. Take it to Idyllwild. Turn right on North Circle Drive (landmarks: the Fort and Chevron station). Go to the stop sign at South Circle Drive. Turn right, go one block, and turn left onto Fern Valley Road/Humber Park. The Inn is about a half mile at 25240 Fern Valley Road.
